Dear WP9 Partners,
Thank you for your participation at the kick-off meeting in Genova.
You can find all the presentations from both days at SVN (instructions how to get there were sent on 13.2. by Technikon). The minutes will be added the next week.
Google Drive is still active (read-only), including the workplan drafts, but will be deleted next week.
I’d like to kindly ask you to finish the following document(s) (work plans) and send them back to me:
- Task leads only (L3CE, IMT, SMILE): the task plan for 2019 (deadline 23.4.),
- All WP9 members: the individual plan for 2019 (deadline 30.4.).
Templates are attached.
Please create the individual work plans after the consultations with task leads.
Thank you!
Best,
Jan

Dear SPARTA WP9 Task Leaders, Dear WP9 members,
As discussed at the kick-off meeting in Paris, we’re planning a WP9 in-person kick-off.
At this moment, we have two options. Either organize an independent 1-day meeting in Brno, Czech Republic (2 hours from Prague or from Vienna), or collocate our meeting with WP6 in Luca, Italy (3,5 hours from Milan and close to Pisa). In both cases, the date would be either in late March or early April.
Since I would like to have all Task Leaders (L3CE, IMT and SMILE) and most members present, I created a voting for the time and place.
Please vote for the best day until this Sunday (10.3.):

Dear WP9 Partners,
Please find the templates (with examples) for the study programs overview attached and on SVN.
Our approach is to do an overview of basic data for each program, together with the list of subjects and topics taught. We limit the amount of programs to ca. 5 per a country, if you have more programs in your country, please use the university ranking to prioritise.
In the attachment, you’ll find:
- Template_Universities: the main document that collects data about each program,
- template_subjects: auxiliary table that collects the list of subjects and their categorisation into topics for each program,
- list_topics: a list of topics considered, to make categorisation of subjects easier.
+ examples.
Currently, the assignment is by countries:
UBO, TUM - Germany,
KTU - US, Canada
SMILE - Japan
UBO - Israel
BUT - Rest of EU, UK
Others, please feel free to take China, Korea or help with some of the European countries.
All active partners: Please directly revise&update the files with your comments on SVN or agree on the template this week (deadline is on May 26th).
If necessary, I can organise a telco for this - just let me know.
Thank you,
Best :-)

Dear WP9 Partners,
The proposed Task Plan has been added to the SVN (and is attached
to this mail).
Concretely, the task is meant to start at T0+6, which is August
2019. However, we would like us to tell to which activity each
partner will contribute, at least for 2019.
In the proposed task plan, the corresponding activities are the
following:
- Q3-Q4 2019 : Overview of existing professional trainings (EU, USA,
Japan ?)
- Q3-Q4 2019 : Overview of existing certifications and recognition
systems
- Q4 2019-Q1 2020 : Identification of important and/or under-developed
domains
- Q4 2019-Q1 2020 : Identification of relevant certification and/or
recognition system for our courses
- Q1-Q2 2020 : Development of a syllabus for one or several domain
identified
- Q3-Q4 2020 : Production of pedagogical resources
- Q4 2020-Q2 2021 : Experimentations and evaluation of produced courses
- Q3-Q4 2021 : Certification of our courses
Could you please review the task plan and tell me to which
activity you would like to contribute?
The firm deadline to establish the task plan (for 2019) is set to
May 30th. Don't hesitate to use the mailing list to discuss the
matter or to contact if needed.
Best regards,
Olivier Levillain
