Dear WP8 partners,
as we discussed during the last conf call, we need to finalize D8.1 asap
(find a copy in the svn and in attachment). (When contributing: accept
all the changes, use track changes and put in the repository with name
extended with your organization short name by Jan 7.)
The following actions must be done by each WP8 partner:
1) refine the national situation of your country (possibly cooperating
with the other SPARTA partners in your country), describing the actions
done this year for improving the national cooperation and clustering,
and the future ones and in particular the monthly workshops (see section
3.4). See section 3.1 your country for
(CEA,CETIC,Joanneum,TUM,CSNET,L3C,NASK,INOV,CIRC,UTARTU,KEMEA) and
section 8.3.15 filling the table with the situation in your country even
beyond SPARTA. (Thanks to TECNALIA for providing already this action
and CSNET for info on a project).
2) ALL describe in section 3.3, if you have contacts as SPARTA
representative with other EU projects and if so which kind of
interaction happened or could happen in the future.
Any other contribution you can have (in the case for the JCCI please
interact directly with VICOMTEC).

Dear WP8 partners:
As mentioned in today's meeting, *we urgently need to connect at least 6
partners' workbenches through VPN* for the review and our first KPI. Those
of you interested, please let us know so that we can create a user+pass for
the VPN connection with us and another user+pass for the SSH connection to
the machine. *Then, you will also need to create users for the interested
organizations (the connection is between several partners, not only with
us). *
We've created a spreadsheet

note down who's connected with whom (who has given access to whom). Please,
update it when you've successfully given access to a partner. As said, we
need to be at least 6. On the spreadsheet I've only included people of
T8.1, but add your organization if needed.
The connections will be by organization, not by person (that is, the users
created should have the name of the organizations). E.g. user: CNR, pass:
xxx
Once the review is complete, for our next milestone we will need to handle
this through IdPs and a web connection (now just for context).

Dear WP8 contributors:
as you know, we are going to create a *Virtual Learning Center*, a web
portal integration aiming to spread the knowledge and e-learning purposes
via multimedia resources. It will be done in T8.1 with the different
learning tools that each partner can offer. To build the best we can, we
need as many inputs from you as possible (even if you are not participating
specifically in T8.1). The more the merrier! The types of contributions we
need are any learning resources you may have:
- Any courses (online, in person)
- Hands-on labs (hackathons, competitions, etc.)
- Access to repositories of handbooks, etc.
We have written a template for you to fill with the information. There is a
locked version under the MASTER folder. Please, download that version, fill
in your information and upload it to the parent folder
(.../03-WPs/WP8-Clustering-platforms-and-ecosystem-activities/JCCI). I will
merge all the inputs after the deadline (October 14th).
