Dear Dissemination Committee,
I am sorry for the delayed dissemination action, but we submitted a paper “Systematic
Literature Review of Security Risk Management in Intelligent Transportation Systems” to
the ARES 2019 conference on the 30 March. The abstract of the paper is placed below and
the research is relevant to WP6 (security and privacy in IoT). Paper notification is
expected by the 24 May. In case of acceptance we will communicate the full version of the
paper before submitting its camera ready copy.
Sensitive information in the paper is not expected.
Do not hesitate to contact us if yo have any further questions.
Best greetings,

Title: Systematic Literature Review of Security Risk Management in Intelligent
Transportation Systems
Authors: Abasi-amefon Affia, Alexander Nolte, Raimundas Matulevičius
Abstract: Transportation systems around the world are undergoing significant
transformation. The integration of more and more electronics, sensors, information and
communication (internet and intranet) technologies into a transportation system gave rise
to what we now consider an Intelligent transportation system. These integrated
technologies form a complex cyber-physical landscape that faces high security risks. This
paper presents results from a comprehensive literature analysis on the state-of-the-art of
security risk management in vehicular ITS, evaluating assets, threats/risks and
countermeasures. We examine these security elements along the dimensions of the
perception, network and application layers of ITS. This review also revealed security
research gaps within this domain and thus, future research in gap areas are proposed.

Dear all,
we plan to submit a paper to the ARES conference (3rd International
Workshop on Security and Forensics of IoT, dealine April 30, 2019). The
paper presents a secure Publish/Subscribe Protocol for Internet of
Things. Our proposal enhances the security and privacy of users using
MQTT-based services in IoT. Therefore, this paper is in line with WP6
that is focusing on security and privacy protection in IoT.
Please find a final version of our submission (for the first round of
double blind review) attached to this email.
Additional sensitive information in the final version is not expected.
Please let me know if
you have further questions.
Thank you very much!
Best regards,
